My Thoughts: I really enjoyed the Cowboy Christmas Guardian. Suspense is not my typical genre of choice but after reading this gem by Dana Mentink I might just change my mind! First of all the story is well written. Normally in a suspense book I can figure out who the "bad guy" is within the first few chapters but the Cowboy Christmas Guardian kept me guessing all the way through. Second, the characters are real and will most likely remind you of someone you know. I don't know any cowboys personally but Shelby reminded me of a few of my friends, loyal to a fault. All in all I truly enjoyed Cowboy Christmas Guardian and I believe you will too. Even if this isn't your typical choice of genre to read you should give it a try. Who knows? It may become your new favorite!
