Bible Belles' Esther

The Bible Belles' The Adventure of Rooney Cruz follows Rooney throughout every day life. She has her own personal angel Mari who shows up from time to time, usually; when Rooney is facing a crisis and needs a little guidance. Once Rooney learns and understands the character trait of the heroine she receives a bell. The bell is to help her remember the principle and how to use it.

In this story, Rooney is on a soccer team and Amanda tends to hog the ball quite a lot. Not only does she hog the ball, but she wants to be in the spot light at meetings or basically wherever she gets the chance. Rooney and her friend Dani have had it! Amanda does this all the time and the coach never seems to notice. They keep trying to bring it to the coach's attention but he is distracted. They know something needs to be said, because it isn't fair that Amanda is running the show. Mari, Rooney's personal angel, shows up and wants to offer help.

She shows Rooney the story of Esther. She helps Rooney understand what made Esther so special. It wasn't her looks, it was her patience. She was willing to wait on the Lord and act in His perfect timing. Mari helps Rooney realize that even though she has something important to say she needs to wait until the proper time to talk to the coach.

Bible Belles' The Adventure of Rooney Cruz is a new and exciting way to introduce the women of the Bible to young girls. I say girls but some boys may enjoy it also. It's colorful, engaging and presents the complex stories on a level that kids can understand. It helps them relate to the principles of the Bible in their everyday life.

I can't wait to see who the next heroine will be!

*I received a copy of Bible Belles' the story of Esther from flyby promotions in exchange for my honest opinion. The ideas and opinions stated above are mine alone.
